Bokang Mokoena, is an experienced professional in community development with over 6 years’ experience in the non-profit sector. His special focus is Ensuring ongoing organizational excellence, programmes evaluations and consistent quality of finance, fundraising, communication and systems to recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the organizations strategic goals. He participated in a vast plethora of seminars, workshop and conferences, including the Ikamva Youth Community of Collaboration, The Bridge (Monitoring and Evaluation in the Education space) and had the opportunity to be interviewed both in television and radio through advocating for Education and community development.
Bokang has an extensive experience in leadership and working with children and the Youth. He previously served as a mentor with the Student Scholarship programme, a facilitator at Junior Achievement South Africa and a Youth Club Team leader at Camp Sizanani Life Skills. He also worked with labour law services as a Sales Department Team Leader, responsible for customary sales targets and encouraging the entire Sales Team.
Bokang has also worked with Frost Valley YMCA in the United States of America in 2018 and 2019, as the Activities Coordinator and being a member of the
representative councils from around the world. In 2019, he was recognised for the Top 100 Young Independents (TYI) a very prestigious campaign inspiring and aspiring young leaders from across sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a Certificate in Adult Basic Education and Training, certificate in entrepreneurship from the University of Pretoria and currently an undergraduate with the University of South Africa completing a Degree in Bachelor of Education.
